Two fundraising events for The Emaan Foundation’s latest appeal to build a health centre for the people of Pakistan, have boosted funds to the £7K mark.
A grand total of £3133 was raised at a recent golfing event that took place at Teesside Golf Club, in addition to just over £445 at the Eid Fusion Festival, organised by Friends of Ropner Park in Stockton.
A total of 13 teams teed off at the golf club for an enjoyable day on the course. The winning team received trophies, in addition to there being prizes for the longest drive and nearest to the pin. Guests enjoyed a meal at the Clubhouse, where an auction and raffle also took place.
Nas Khan, founder of The Emaan Foundation and managing director of north east-based Jennings Motor Group,said; “I would like to thank everyone for their continued support. We have held several golfing events at Teesside Golf Club and each time it just gets bigger and better.
“This is also the second consecutive occasion we have supported the local Eid Festival, which is the perfect platform to promote the charity and raise funds and awareness about our current fundraising Appeal.”
Jennings Ford’s Transit Centre in Middlesbrough also supported the event by donating the use of two Transit mini-buses for a park and ride system on the day.
