Teesside’s Eid Fusion Festival helps boost fundraising

Supporting a local festival has boosted fundraising for The Emaan Foundation charity.

The Eid Fusion Festival and Family Picnic, in its 4th year, is organised by the Friends of Ropner Park and the Community Welfare Trust, with the help of Stockton Borough Council.

At the event, volunteers from The Emaan Foundation set up a stall with a variety of items for sale, such as clothes, hand-made jewellry, cakes, and a range of food and drinks – and a grand total of £585 was raised.

Throughout the day, members of the public enjoyed an afternoon of summer fun with a host of art and entertainment for all the family to enjoy, in addition to many food and craft stalls, and a range of activities such as an assault course, bikes rides and a climbing wall.
